Requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering. - 8–10 years of experience in lifting activities. - Minimum 5 years of Oil & Gas industry experience preferred. - Must hold a valid Lifting Supervisor Third-Party Certificate from a QatarEnergy-approved list of training providers. - QatarEnergy-approved certification is mandatory. - Strong knowledge of lifting operations, lifting plans, rigging practices, and safety requirements. - Must be currently based in Qatar . - Qatar Oil & Gas project experience will be an added advantage. Responsibilities: - Prepare lifting permits at site and coordinate the approval of lifting plans with the client. - Review and ensure the lifting plan addresses actual site conditions and all potential risks before finalization. - Monitor lifting activities and control the lifting crew, including Foremen, Riggers, and other lifting personnel. - Maintain full control and authority over the designated lifting area and lifting operations. - Check and ensure the competency of crane operators and rigging teams. - Inspect lifting equipment and ensure valid fitness certificates and inspection records are available. - Identify and report any issues, risks, or challenges encountered during lifting operations. - Ensure all lifting activities are carried out in accordance with approved procedures, QatarEnergy requirements, and HSE standards. - Close lifting permits and maintain all required lifting documentation. - Report lifting activities and any concerns to the Construction Manager and HSE Department .
