We are a leading third-party commercial aviation Line Maintenance organization seeking an experienced, highly skilled, and safety-focused LAE to join our team and play a key role in supporting safe and reliable commercial aircraft operations. As a Level III licensed maintenance professional, you will perform aircraft servicing, maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and Return-to-Service activities in support of our Repair Station operations. Working under the direction of the Operations Manager or Deputy Operations Manager, you will apply your advanced technical knowledge, aircraft qualifications, and certification privileges to ensure maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with regulatory, customer, and company requirements. Beyond hands-on aircraft maintenance, you will serve as a technical resource and mentor to developing members of the maintenance team by providing on-the-job training, oversight, coaching, and technical guidance. QUALIFICATIONS : Education / Experiences / Certificates · High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. · Aviation maintenance diploma, apprenticeship, or equivalent practical experience and training supporting eligibility for an FAA A&P Certificate, EASA Part-66 License, or equivalent aviation maintenance license issued by a recognized civil aviation authority. · FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic License (must obtain if not available), or EASA/Other Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Licenses. · Two (2) to five (5) years of commercial aircraft maintenance experience. · Applicable Level III (L3) aircraft type rating, or relevant Airworthiness Certificate of Release to Service (CRS) equivalent meeting for customer authorization requirements. (Preferably B777, A330 and/or A350) · Structured On-the-Job Training Logbook & Company QA Statement (approval) · Valid US Driver’s License Knowledge (Obtained through training, observation, and practical experience) · Aircraft Maintenance – Deep command of aircraft maintenance, repair, inspection, and servicing operations. · Regulatory Compliance – Deep understanding of applicable FAA regulations, Repair Station procedures, maintenance requirements, and Return-to-Service authorization processes. · Aircraft Systems – Deep understanding of aircraft systems, airframe structures, and powerplant operation and maintenance. · Supervision - Strong understanding of line maintenance procedures and best practices, with the ability to effectively train, coach, and mentor less experienced team members. Skills (Developed through training, practical application, and experience) · Communication - Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly with good proficiency in maintaining professionalism with the team, the authorities, and the customers. · Technical – Proficient in reading, understanding, and following procedures, manuals, and technical documents, including computer skills in accessing, and managing company database. · Inspection - Proficient in assessing and identifying leaks, cracks, wear, and other discrepancies. · Tool Handling - Proficient in the safe use of basic mechanical and electrical tools and instruments. · Attention to Detail - Ability to recognize errors that could impact quality or safety. · Problem Solving – Proficient in troubleshooting, identifying issues and support continuous improvement efforts toward resolution. · Adaptability - Ability to work independently and effectively in a dynamic team environment across varying shifts and, at times, various locations. · Initiative and Accountability - Demonstrates ownership of quality, safety, and personal performance. · Influential Leadership - Ability to gain the trust and respect of team members to provide direction, coordinate work, and achieve operational objectives without direct supervisory authority. Responsibilities · Perform line maintenance services. · Perform additional maintenance tasks such as A-check, and customer-requested work in accordance with contractual requirements. · Provide Technical guidance and supervision to mechanics and maintenance personnel. · Review, interpret, understand how to apply the OEM maintenance manuals, continued airworthiness instructions, Repair Station manuals, and quality procedures to ensure compliance. · Maintain comprehensive record of all work performed, tools and equipment used, to comply with regulatory and company requirements, to prepare work reports and documents and approve them for L2 customer accepted airworthiness release, or for approval by L3 Certifying LAE. · Oversee and coordinate maintenance activities with all stakeholders, including Customers, Flight Crews, Maintenance Control, Airport Personnel, Quality, and Maintenance Team Members, to resolve issues, ensure regulatory and operational compliance, and support the safe return to service of aircraft. · Uphold the Company's Code of Conduct, mission, vision, and values when interacting with customers, regulatory authorities, and fellow team members. · Be active in ongoing training and development activities to enhance technical knowledge, build skills, and support Company success. · Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including adherence to Foreign Object Debris (FOD) control requirements throughout each shift. · Monitor rostered schedules and operational changes and work with duty manager(s) to make real-time staffing and work crew adjustments to maintain schedule performance and regulatory compliance. · Teach, coach, and support less experienced team members in maintenance techniques, best practices, and regulatory requirements. · Travel domestically and internationally as required. · Perform other duties and assignments as directed by department leadership.
