We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire . This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional who is passionate about supporting young children's learning, development and wellbeing within a nurturing and stimulating school environment. The Role As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will: Support the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum , helping to plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate activities. Support children's development across all areas of learning, including communication, physical development and personal, social and emotional development. Provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children feel confident and supported. Assist with daily nursery routines, including mealtimes, toileting and settling children into the setting. Observe and monitor children's progress and contribute to learning journals and development records. Build positive and trusting relationships with children, parents and carers. Work closely with the class teacher and wider school team to ensure an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Encourage children's confidence, independence and curiosity through play-based learning and engaging activities. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in accordance with school policies and safeguarding procedures. What We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you will have: A Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or an equivalent recognised qualification . Recent experience working within an EYFS, nursery or early years setting . A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development. A warm, patient and nurturing approach. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work effectively as part of a team. A good understanding of the EYFS framework and children's developmental needs.
