# Lettings Manager **Redbrik Estate Agents** · Sheffield S11 8TH · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 9 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role The Role We are looking for an experienced, motivated and commercially minded Lettings Manager to lead the front end of our lettings process, from winning new business through to the point a tenant moves into their new home. This is a hands-on management role. You will lead and develop the lettings team, drive performance against targets, ensure a smooth and efficient customer journey, and help the team consistently deliver exceptional results. You will work closely with the Head of Lettings , taking ownership of the day-to-day performance of the team while supporting the wider growth and development of the lettings business. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Performance - Lead, motivate and support the lettings team to achieve individual and team targets. - Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable for performance. - Monitor KPIs, activity levels, conversion rates and results, taking action where performance is below expectation. - Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews and coaching with team members. - Identify training and development opportunities to help individuals reach their potential. - Create a positive, energetic and high-performing team environment. - Lead by example, remaining hands-on and involved in the day-to-day lettings process. Front-End Lettings Process - Take ownership of the lettings process from new business through to move-in. - Ensure properties are marketed effectively and enquiries are responded to quickly and professionally. - Oversee viewings, applicant management, negotiations and progression. - Support the team in converting enquiries and applicants into successful lets. - Ensure offers are dealt with promptly and professionally, maximising opportunities for landlords while securing the right outcome for all parties. - Work closely with the relevant teams to ensure a smooth handover and move-in process. - Identify and resolve issues quickly to keep transactions progressing. Business Development - Support the team in generating new landlord instructions and growing the lettings portfolio. - Encourage proactive follow-up with applicants, landlords and prospective clients. - Identify opportunities to increase instructions, referrals and repeat business. - Monitor local market activity and competitor performance. - Support the Head of Lettings with initiatives to grow the department. Customer Service - Ensure landlords and tenants receive a consistently high level of service throughout the process. - Deal confidently with escalated queries and complaints. - Ensure the team communicates clearly, proactively and professionally. - Maintain strong relationships with landlords and applicants. - Help drive positive reviews, recommendations and repeat business. Reporting & Commercial Management - Report regularly to the Head of Lettings on team performance, pipeline, targets and key issues. - Track performance against agreed KPIs and financial targets. - Identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement. - Take ownership of agreed team targets and contribute to wider departmental objectives. - Provide clear and accurate updates on pipeline and upcoming move-ins We are looking for someone who is: - An experienced lettings professional with strong knowledge of the lettings process. - A confident and supportive people manager who enjoys getting the best out of others. - Commercially driven and motivated by achieving targets. - Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities. - Confident in handling negotiations and challenging conversations. - Customer-focused, with high standards of service. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. - A strong communicator who can build relationships with both clients and colleagues. - Someone who takes ownership, uses their initiative and gets things done. Previous management experience within lettings is preferred , although we are equally interested in individuals who have strong lettings experience and are ready to take the next step into management. What Success Looks Like In this role, success will be measured by: - The team consistently achieving or exceeding agreed targets. - Strong conversion and pipeline performance. - Properties progressing efficiently from instruction through to move-in. - High levels of landlord and tenant satisfaction. - A motivated, accountable and developing lettings team. - Increased new business and growth within the lettings department. - Clear communication and effective reporting to the Head of Lettings.
