# Legal Trainee **PMAX** · Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 3 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Legal Trainee - Finance & Accounting - Ho Chi Minh - Trainee - Mon - Fri, 9am - 6pm - Objectives The Legal Trainee is a full-time member of the Legal team who independently handles day-to-day legal work — contracts, legal checks on campaigns, internal documents and compliance support — under the guidance and final approval of the Head of Legal. Job Description - Contract management - To independently draft, review and negotiate contracts, appendices, NDAs, MOUs, acceptance and liquidation minutes with clients, vendors, partners and freelancers, based on PMAX templates and the Legal team’s review rules. - To identify legal and commercial risks (payment terms, liability, IP, data protection, penalties, termination) and propose redlines and fallback positions; escalate non-standard or high-risk points to the line manager for decision. - To work directly with Business Development, Account, Partnership and Finance teams to clarify business requirements and close contract comments within the agreed SLA. - To manage the contract approval flow on internal systems, check documents before signing and apply the Company’s official seal. - To maintain the contract and NDA database (soft and hard copies), track expiry, renewal and key obligations. - Campaign & compliance review - To review client products/services against the Legal checklist (advertising law, industry-specific restrictions, platform policies, personal data protection) and give Pass/Fail recommendations. - To support the line manager in compliance assessments with Project Teams and follow up on corrective actions. - Legal advisory & research - To research Vietnamese laws and regulations (commercial, advertising, personal data, labour, tax-related contract issues) and provide written advice to internal teams. - To monitor new legal updates and contribute content to the internal legal newsletter. - Internal documents & process - To draft internal legal documents: policies, decisions, notices, authorisation letters, and other corporate documents. - To contribute to building and improving legal processes, templates and Legal x AI/automation tools. - To support English – Vietnamese translation of legal documents. - Others - To perform other tasks assigned by the line manager. Job Requirements Skills & Knowledge & Qualification - Bachelor’s degree in Law (fresh graduates or final-year students available full-time are welcome). - 0 – 1 year of experience in legal work; internship experience in contract drafting/review at a law firm or in-house legal team is a strong plus. - Solid knowledge of Vietnamese Civil Law, Commercial Law and Enterprise Law; knowledge of Advertising Law and Personal Data Protection regulations is a plus. - Able to work full-time (Monday – Friday). - Good English (reading, writing and reviewing bilingual contracts). - Strong logical thinking, legal argumentation and attention to detail. - Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. - Proficient in Google Workspace; openness to using AI tools in legal work is a plus.
