As Nordic GEM continues its growth journey, they are looking for a Legal Officer based in Sweden to join a small, ambitious, and collaborative team. This is an opportunity for someone with a formal legal education and solid corporate services experience in Sweden, who enjoys working closely with the business and contributing in a broad, practical, and business-oriented role. REGION: The role is based in Stockholm, with a hybrid working model offering flexibility between the office and remote work. The position has Sweden as its main focus, while also collaborating closely with colleagues and stakeholders across the Nordic region. The planned start date is January 2027, although some flexibility may be possible for the right candidate. TASKS / RESPONSIBILITIES: As Legal Officer Sweden, you will play an important role in supporting Nordic GEM's corporate services activities and legal-administrative processes in Sweden. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, contributing both to day-to-day operations and to the continued development of efficient ways of working. Your responsibilities will include: Taking ownership of corporate services matters in Sweden and ensuring high-quality support to the business. Handling legal documentation, corporate governance matters, compliance-related processes, and administrative legal activities. Acting as a trusted point of contact for internal stakeholders, external advisors, and relevant authorities. Supporting structure, quality, and consistency across processes connected to corporate services. Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of routines and ways of working within a small but growing Nordic team. Managing day-to-day legal and corporate services matters with a proactive, pragmatic, and solution-oriented approach. The role includes holding selected directorships positions within Nordic group entities. Previous experience is highly valued, although a genuine interest in corporate governance is equally important. PROFILE: We are looking for someone with a formal legal education and solid experience within corporate services in Sweden. This role requires both a legal academic background and hands-on experience working with corporate services in a Swedish context. You are likely ambitious, entrepreneurial, communicative, and motivated by working in a small and growing organisation where your contribution truly makes a difference. You enjoy taking responsibility, solving problems, and working closely with the business in a role where structure, sound judgement, and initiative are highly valued. To succeed in this role, we believe you have: A formal legal education. Previous experience within corporate services in Sweden. Previous experience holding directorships or serving as a board member is considered a strong advantage. A strong understanding of corporate governance, legal documentation, and compliance-related processes. A proactive, pragmatic, and solution-oriented way of working. Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with a variety of stakeholders. A genuine interest in working within a small, growing, and collaborative team. Previous experience and/or interest in GDPR, cybersecurity, information security (ISO). Fluency in both Swedish and English. Finnish, Danish or Norwegian language skills are considered a strong advantage. Finnish BankID is highly beneficial. In the interest of salary transparency, Nordic GEM has benchmarked this position between SEK 40,000 - 50,000 per month, depending on experience and competences you bring.
