Role Overview We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Legal Executive / Litigation Secretary to join our client’s dynamic litigation practice. In this role, you will provide vital legal, administrative, and case management support to lawyers handling high-stakes civil and commercial dispute resolution matters. This is an excellent opportunity for legal professionals looking to deepen their practical court experience and manage end-to-end litigation workflows. Key Responsibilities Litigation & Court Filings: Assist in the preparation, formatting, and filing of court pleadings, affidavits, correspondence, and legal bundles. Manage eLitigation submissions and ensure strict compliance with Singapore court rules and deadlines. Case & Calendar Management: Oversee case file organization, maintain accurate chronological summaries, monitor court hearing dates, and proactively manage lawyers' schedules and diaries. Legal Research & Drafting: Conduct preliminary legal research, review case materials, summarize facts, and assist in drafting basic legal documents and correspondence. Trial & Hearing Preparation: Support lawyers in preparing bundles for court hearings, trials, mediations, and client consultations. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a professional point of contact, liaising with clients, court officials, opposing counsel, and external agencies when required. Administrative Operations: Perform ad-hoc legal administrative tasks and file management duties to ensure smooth day-to-day practice operations. Requirements & Qualifications Education: Diploma or Degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related discipline. Experience: Prior experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, Legal Executive, or Litigation Secretary within a Singapore law firm—particularly in civil or commercial litigation—is preferred. Court Procedure Knowledge: Familiarity with the eLitigation portal, Singapore civil procedure, and registry workflows is a strong advantage. Fresh Graduates: High-caliber fresh legal graduates with relevant academic background and a strong desire to learn are welcome to apply. Key Skills: Exceptional organizational skills with sharp attention to detail. Strong ability to prioritize tasks, handle confidential information, and manage multiple tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
