Role purpose The Legal AI Solutions Manager will lead the responsible adoption of artificial intelligence and workflow automation across CVML. The role combines legal-process design, technology implementation, and AI governance. Its purpose is to convert legal and operational requirements into practical AI-enabled solutions while protecting confidentiality, data security, professional standards, and the quality of the firm’s work. The successful candidate will work directly with the Managing Partner, Director of Operations, partners, lawyers, and external technology providers. Key responsibilities Legal AI solutions Identify legal and administrative processes suitable for AI, automation or redesign. Map existing workflows and develop more efficient processes for legal research, drafting, document review, due diligence, client onboarding, matter management, compliance and reporting. Configure and implement approved AI tools, including integrations with Lexzur and the firm’s document and knowledge-management systems. Develop reusable prompts, playbooks, templates and automated workflows for different practice areas. Test solutions with lawyers before firm-wide deployment. Manage AI vendors, proofs of concept, implementation projects and technical integrations. Measure time savings, adoption, accuracy, cost reduction and commercial value. AI governance and risk Develop and maintain the firm’s AI-use policy and governance framework. Establish controls covering confidentiality, legal privilege, personal data, cybersecurity, intellectual property and client disclosure. Conduct risk assessments and due diligence on proposed AI platforms and vendors. Classify approved, restricted and prohibited AI use cases. Define when human review, partner approval or client consent is required. Maintain an inventory of the firm’s AI systems, use cases, data access and responsible owners. Monitor incidents, inaccurate outputs and unauthorized use, and coordinate corrective action. Keep the firm informed of relevant AI regulation and professional-conduct developments in the UAE, DIFC, ADGM and other relevant jurisdictions. Quality and adoption Establish testing standards for accuracy, hallucination, consistency and drafting quality. Train lawyers and support teams to use approved tools effectively and responsibly. Work with practice leaders to create practice-specific solutions. Maintain clear guidance and escalation procedures. Encourage adoption without compromising legal judgment or professional accountability. Report periodically to the Managing Partner on usage, risk, performance and return on investment. Candidate profile A law degree or substantial experience in a legal-services environment. Ideally three to six years’ experience in legal practice, legal operations, legal technology, knowledge management, AI governance or product implementation. Strong understanding of legal workflows and professional confidentiality. Practical experience with generative AI, document automation, contract-review tools or legal practice-management systems. Ability to translate lawyers’ requirements into structured technological solutions. Familiarity with data protection, information security and technology-vendor assessment. Strong project-management, communication and training capabilities. Sufficient technical literacy to configure tools and manage integrations; advanced software engineering is not essential. Commercially minded, analytical and comfortable challenging inefficient working practices. Reporting line The role will report to the Managing Partner and work operationally with the Director of Operations. Pay: From AED25,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
