Visit our careers site to learn more about how your moment matters at Cebu Pacific: Cebu Pacific Careers Site Primary Responsibilities: - Define and maintain risk-based test strategies, plans, scope, schedules, entry and exit criteria, and quality deliverables for assigned initiatives. - Review business requirements, acceptance criteria, solution designs, and customer journeys to identify gaps, dependencies, and quality risks early in the development lifecycle. - Coordinate end-to-end testing across quality engineers, developers, product teams, business users, vendors, and other stakeholders without direct people-management accountability. - Ensure appropriate coverage of functional, integration, regression, system, end-to-end, usability, accessibility, performance, and other applicable testing areas. - Oversee test execution and defect governance, including documentation, prioritization, triage, escalation, retesting, and closure of issues. - Assess the business and customer impact of defects, constraints, and residual risks, and provide evidence-based recommendations on release readiness. - Establish and monitor quality metrics covering test progress, coverage, defects, risk exposure, testing effort, and release health; translate results into actionable insights for stakeholders. - Maintain compliance with quality governance standards, controls, templates, documentation, and evidence requirements across assigned initiatives. - Analyze recurring defects and quality debt, facilitate root-cause analysis, and recommend preventive actions and process improvements. - Promote shift-left quality practices, test automation, continuous testing, and effective integration of quality controls into Agile and CI/CD ways of working. - Represent Quality Governance in planning, refinement, technical, defect, and release forums and communicate quality issues clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Contribute project-level insights and recommendations to the Manager, Quality Governance to improve enterprise quality standards, practices, tools, and capability. - Qualifications: - Must be a graduate of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. - Relevant quality assurance or testing certification (e.g., ISTQB) is an advantage. - 5 to 7 years' experience in software quality assurance or testing, with significant experience testing activities for enterprise-wide, large-scale, and complex digital or technology initiatives. - Strong knowledge of software development and testing lifecycles, Agile/Scrum delivery, risk-based testing, defect management, and root-cause analysis. - Hands-on experience in functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing, including the preparation of test strategies, plans, scenarios, cases, and quality evidence. - Experience with test management and defect-tracking tools such as Jira, Xray, Qase, Azure DevOps, or equivalent platforms. - Working knowledge of APIs, databases, web and mobile applications, CI/CD practices, and test automation concepts. - Experience with airline, fintech, payment, booking, mission-critical, highly integrated, or high-transaction-volume systems is an advantage. - Experience working effectively with remote teams, coordinating testing activities, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across different locations. - Must have a valid work visa or legal authorization to work in the Philippines.
