Lead medical Sales Associate
Job Summary Position Summary The Sales Associate will train directly under the Director of Business Development and provide daily operational, reporting, prospecting, and administrative support to the Massachusetts and New Jersey sales teams. The role is designed for a highly organized, proactive professional who can help improve sales-team execution, strengthen existing-client engagement, and create new business opportunities. Based at the front desk of the One Beacon Street office in Boston, the Sales Associate will serve as a consistent in-office point of coordination while also traveling with the Director of Business Development and Account Executives when business needs require. Key Responsibilities Sales Operations and Reporting · Prepare and distribute accurate daily sales reports to the Director of Business Development and Senior Leadership Team in the required format and within established deadlines. · Track sales activity, new appointments, client follow-up, file acquisition, route completion, and other performance indicators designated by leadership. · Identify missing, incomplete, or inconsistent activity data and follow up with the appropriate team member before reports are finalized. Route Planning and Field Coordination · Confirm that daily sales routes are created, organized, and communicated for all Account Executives serving the Massachusetts and New Jersey markets. · Coordinate route details, client visits, prospect meetings, and event-related travel with the Director of Business Development and Account Executives. · Travel on sales calls, client visits, and business-development activities as needed, representing approximately 20% of the role. Client Outreach and File Retention · Make outbound calls to existing clients to support daily file retention and new file acquisition efforts. · Follow up with clients regarding newly available PIP claims, outstanding needs, service questions, and barriers preventing additional file submissions. · Document outreach activity, client feedback, commitments, and follow-up actions in the designated sales systems and reports. · Escalate operational concerns or potential revenue-recovery opportunities promptly to the Director of Business Development and appropriate internal teams. Prospecting and Appointment Setting · Conduct outbound prospecting to qualified healthcare organizations and other approved business-development targets. · Schedule new prospect appointments for the Director of Business Development and provide complete meeting details and relevant background information. · Maintain an organized follow-up cadence for prospects and help prepare call lists, meeting materials, and pre-call research. Marketing Materials, Events, and Office Support · Manage inventory of sales and marketing materials for the Massachusetts and New Jersey teams. · Coordinate marketing-material orders with headquarters and ensure materials are available before client visits, conferences, and presentations. · Maintain a centralized calendar of sales events, conferences, association meetings, webinars, and related deadlines. · Support event registration, scheduling, materials preparation, and follow-up activities. · Maintain a professional and organized presence at the front desk of the One Beacon Street office and assist with reasonable office coordination related to the sales function. · , client follow-up, file-acquisition activity, and next steps in the designated systems. Work Schedule and Travel · Four days per week in the One Beacon Street office in Boston, Massachusetts. · One remote workday per week, subject to business needs and manager approval. · Approximately 20% travel for sales calls, client visits, events, and field support across Massachusetts, New Jersey, and other assigned markets as needed. · Schedule flexibility may be required for occasional early-morning, evening, or event-related responsibilities. Preferred Qualifications · Associate's Degree, preferred .One to three years of experience in sales support, business development, customer service, account management, or a related field preferred. · Strong verbal and written communication skills, including confidence making outbound calls and communicating with healthcare professionals and senior business leaders. · Excellent organization, time management, follow-through, and attention to detail. · Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet daily deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. · Comfort using CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, shared calendars, reporting tools, and related sales technology. · Professional judgment and discretion when handling client, claim, and business information. · Reliable transportation and ability to travel as required. Success in This Role Success will be measured by the consistency and accuracy of daily reporting, the readiness of sales routes, the quality and volume of client and prospect outreach, the number of qualified appointments created, and the role’s contribution to sustained new file acquisition and revenue-recovery opportunities.
