We are looking for a Lead JavaScript Automation Test Engineer to uphold dependable, high-quality releases across our software platforms with robust automation. You will lead testers, oversee automated test execution, and keep improving our automation framework and workflows. Responsibilities Manage and mentor a tester group, offering clear direction across testing efforts Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to collect and evaluate requirements Write detailed test plans, test cases, and testing strategies covering key scenarios Schedule and prioritize testing tasks to ensure full and efficient coverage Implement and execute automated test scripts using advanced tooling Report defects, communicate impact, and verify fixes through to completion Define quality benchmarks and ensure the team follows established best practices Track QA metrics and use insights to improve testing processes continuously Maintain awareness of new tools, technology shifts, and evolving testing practices Add meaningful contributions to QA meetings and testing-focused initiatives Requirements Significant Automation Testing experience with emphasis on JavaScript (8–12 years) Strong practical experience using JavaScript and TypeScript in test automation (4–6 years) Confirmed experience leading others in a QA leadership role (1+ year) Experience with UI Automation solutions such as Playwright, Mocha, Chai, Jest, Puppeteer, or Cypress Knowledge of Web Service and API Test Automation, including test case creation and automation framework development Good working knowledge of Webdriver I/O for UI automation English proficiency B2 (Upper-Intermediate) or higher We offer Opportunity to work on technical challenges that may impact across geographies Vast opportunities for self-development: online university, knowledge sharing opportunities globally, learning opportunities through external certifications Opportunity to share your ideas on international platforms Sponsored Tech Talks & Hackathons Unlimited access to LinkedIn learning solutions Possibility to relocate to any EPAM office for short and long-term projects Focused individual development Benefit package: Health benefits Retirement benefits Paid time off Flexible benefits Forums to explore beyond work passion (CSR, photography, painting, sports, etc.)
