What You Will Do (Key Result Areas) Delighting Our Customers & Stakeholders: Lead requirement gathering, write clear source-to-target mappings (STTM), build data lineage models, and interface with key business leaders to deliver reliable data solutions. Growing Our Business: Manage scope and project risks while identifying strategic data opportunities that enhance core client capabilities. Improving the Way We Work: Drive technical standards, champion Agile data methodologies, and use expert SQL to validate complex data pipelines and eliminate rework. Developing Myself and Others: Mentor team members, review project deliverables, and foster continuous learning across cloud data stack architectures. How Your Success Will Be Measured Delighting Our Customers & Stakeholders: Documentation accuracy, minimal development rework, and high stakeholder satisfaction. Growing Our Business: Predictable, on-time project execution with zero unauthorized scope creep. What We Are Looking For Experience: 5+ years of Business Analysis experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or modern analytics environments. Core Skills: Expert-level SQL skills, deep understanding of ETL/ELT lifecycles, STTM, and dimensional data modeling (star schema). Tech Exposure: Familiarity with AWS data services (e.g., Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, Athena) and modern data architectures. Leadership & Soft Skills: Strong facilitation, negotiation, and executive communication abilities with a track record of guiding Agile teams.
