We are seeking a Lead Business Analyst to drive requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and solution delivery within a credit risk and commodity trading environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep domain expertise in credit risk concepts, strong business analysis skills, and the ability to bridge business and IT teams across Agile and Waterfall delivery models. Responsibilities Capture business problems, value drivers, and functional/non-functional requirements and translate them into functionality Assess risks, feasibility, opportunities, and business impact of proposed solutions Model processes, data flows, and technology to understand current value, identify issues, and recommend improvements Create and update clear documentation of requirements to align with the solution over the project lifecycle, ensuring traceability from business needs through testing to final solution Interact with software suppliers, designers, and developers to understand software limitations and ensure business requirements and use cases are addressed Configure and document software and processes using agreed standards and tools Define acceptance criteria and validate that solutions meet business needs through coordinated testing and UAT support Present compelling business cases to justify solution value and secure approval, funding, and prioritization Lead stakeholder management activities, large design sessions, and workshops Lead teams in completing business analysis activities on projects Educate stakeholders, including Product Owners and business partners, on Agile ways of working Balance multiple priorities while bridging communication between business and IT teams Requirements 10-15 years of overall IT experience, with a Bachelor's/Master's degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field Knowledge of Credit Risk functions, Commodity Derivatives (physical & financial), price curves, and credit risk concepts such as LGD, ECL, PD, and PFE Understanding of Credit Risk Reporting, including exposure, credit review, limit reporting, and controls reporting Background in requirements management, process and data analysis, and stakeholder engagement, with experience leading workshops and driving solution alignment Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI/Tableau, JIRA, and Confluence Experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery models Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into clear user stories and specifications Analytical mindset with the ability to work as a self-starter Familiarity with ETRM systems such as Endur and Aligne Nice to have Skills in Business Process Modeling, Change Management, and UI/UX Design Thinking Expertise in Data Visualization, Analytics, and Modeling Familiarity with Generative AI Use Cases and storytelling techniques Understanding of the trading lifecycle from pre-deal to settlement Awareness of commodity markets and regulatory compliance We offer Opportunity to work on technical challenges that may impact across geographies Vast opportunities for self-development: online university, knowledge sharing opportunities globally, learning opportunities through external certifications Opportunity to share your ideas on international platforms Sponsored Tech Talks & Hackathons Unlimited access to LinkedIn learning solutions Possibility to relocate to any EPAM office for short and long-term projects Focused individual development Benefit package: Health benefits Retirement benefits Paid time off Flexible benefits Forums to explore beyond work passion (CSR, photography, painting, sports, etc.)
