I’m hiring Lead Backend Engineers for a global investment bank.

The work is hands-on and technical: building new backend systems, modernising a core platform and solving complex engineering problems at scale with a team actively embracing AI-assisted development.

You’ll also have experience leading or mentoring a small team of 1–3 engineers, while remaining hands-on with the code.

If you’re strong polyglot backend engineer with experience in Java or Python who can design, build and take ownership I’d like to hear from you.

Experience with distributed systems, Kafka, Kubernetes, Azure, microservices.
