Laundry Operator / Dry Cleaning & Ironing Technician We are looking for a highly capable and experienced Laundry Operator / Dry Cleaning & Ironing Technician to work in a professional laundry and garment-care facility in Casablanca. This is a multi-skilled operational role . The successful candidate must be able to handle the complete laundry process, including washing, drying, dry cleaning, ironing/pressing, stain treatment, folding, packaging and general machine operation . A valid driving licence is required , as the employee may also assist with customer or commercial laundry collection and delivery when needed. Key Responsibilities Operate industrial washing machines safely and correctly. Operate industrial dryers and select the correct drying program for different fabrics and garments. Operate professional dry-cleaning machines. Carry out professional ironing and garment pressing. Use steam irons, vacuum ironing tables and other finishing equipment. Sort garments and linen correctly by color, fabric, cleaning method and customer order. Identify garments that require washing, dry cleaning, stain treatment or special handling. Perform stain removal and spotting before cleaning when necessary. Load and unload washers, dryers and dry-cleaning machines. Select the correct wash programs, temperatures, detergents and chemical dosages. Handle detergents and professional laundry chemicals safely. Inspect garments and linen before and after cleaning. Check for stains, damage, missing buttons or other issues before processing. Maintain a high standard of finishing and presentation. Fold, hang and package finished garments and linen. Prevent garments and customer orders from being mixed up. Maintain customer tags, labels and order identification. Help process large commercial laundry orders from hotels, restaurants, Airbnb operators and other businesses. Assist with collection and delivery of laundry when required. Drive company vehicles for pickup and delivery duties when assigned. Keep laundry equipment and work areas clean. Perform basic daily machine cleaning and maintenance checks. Report technical problems or machine faults immediately. Follow all workplace safety, hygiene and chemical-handling procedures. Support the Laundry Manager in maintaining production targets and turnaround times. Be capable of supporting all areas of the laundry operation when required. Required Skills The candidate should be able to perform most or all of the following independently: Industrial washing Industrial drying Professional dry cleaning Steam ironing Garment pressing Stain treatment Fabric identification Sorting Folding Packaging Basic garment inspection Professional laundry chemical handling Industrial laundry machine operation Basic equipment cleaning and maintenance Customer and commercial laundry handling Pickup and delivery Requirements Previous professional laundry, dry-cleaning, hotel-laundry or pressing experience is strongly preferred. Must be comfortable operating industrial laundry machinery. Must have experience with professional ironing and pressing. Dry-cleaning machine experience is strongly preferred. Good understanding of different fabrics and appropriate cleaning methods. Ability to recognize garments requiring special treatment. Strong attention to detail. Able to work quickly while maintaining quality. Physically able to handle laundry bags, linen and commercial loads. Responsible, punctual and trustworthy. Able to work independently as well as part of a team. Willing to perform different duties depending on operational requirements. Driving Licence A valid driving licence is mandatory . The employee may be required to assist with the collection and delivery of customer and commercial laundry. Licence / Certification For at least one Laundry Operator position, relevant professional dry-cleaning, laundry-operation or equipment-operation certification/licensing may be required , depending on applicable local requirements and the equipment used. Candidates with professional laundry or dry-cleaning certifications will be given preference. Languages Arabic/Darija is required. French and/or English is an advantage. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling the complete laundry workflow from receiving and sorting garments through washing, drying, dry cleaning, stain removal, ironing, finishing, folding and packaging. The employee should also be flexible enough to assist with pickup and delivery duties when required.
