Laundry Manager
Laundry Manager / Laundry Supervisor We are looking for an experienced and reliable Laundry Manager / Laundry Supervisor to manage the daily operations of a professional laundry and garment-care facility in Casablanca. The facility will provide laundry, dry cleaning, ironing/pressing, stain treatment, folding, packaging and tailoring services for individual customers as well as commercial clients such as hotels, restaurants, Airbnb operators, clinics, gyms and other businesses. Key Responsibilities Manage the daily operation of the laundry facility. Supervise laundry operators and coordinate staff duties. Organize the washing, drying, dry-cleaning, ironing and finishing workflow. Ensure all customer garments and commercial linen are processed correctly and on time. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality control. Inspect finished garments and linen before packaging or delivery. Ensure correct sorting of garments by fabric type, color, cleaning method and customer order. Monitor proper use of detergents, chemicals and stain-removal products. Ensure staff follow correct operating procedures when using industrial laundry equipment. Monitor industrial washing machines, dryers, dry-cleaning equipment, steam irons and pressing equipment. Report machine faults, maintenance requirements and operational problems. Maintain records of orders, production and customer items. Prevent lost, damaged or mixed-up garments. Coordinate large hotel, restaurant and commercial laundry orders. Monitor turnaround times and ensure deadlines are respected. Manage stock levels for detergents, chemicals, packaging materials, hangers and other consumables. Maintain a clean, safe and organized working environment. Handle customer complaints or quality issues professionally. Assist with reception and customer service when required. Report regularly to the business owner regarding operations, staff, equipment and supply requirements. Requirements Previous experience in a professional laundry, dry-cleaning facility, hotel laundry or similar operation is strongly preferred. Previous supervisory or team-management experience is preferred. Good knowledge of washing, drying, ironing and garment-care procedures. Understanding of different fabrics and appropriate cleaning methods. Knowledge of stain removal and professional laundry chemicals is an advantage. Ability to supervise and train laundry operators. Good organizational and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail and quality control. Able to work under pressure and manage multiple customer orders. Responsible, punctual and trustworthy. Basic computer/POS skills are an advantage. Experience handling hotel or commercial laundry accounts is an advantage. Languages Arabic/Darija is required. French and/or English would be an advantage.
