Landscape Maintenance Sales Representative

Management may assign other functions not listed herein at its sole discretion. · Develops plans and strategies for developing business leads and achieving the companys landscape maintenance sales goals; · Develops strong positive relationships with customer community based upon clear and frequent communication, mutual trust, and ability to meet the customer needs; · Develops win-win opportunities for the customer and the company; · Demonstrates frequent, effective, professional, and timely communication with customers; · Creates a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement; · Generates results-based marketing initiatives; · Builds and sustains a consistent pipeline of leads to fuel continuous company success and growth; · Responds to all inquiries and requests for bid in a timely manner; · Develops, maintains, and adheres to departmental and organizational budgets, strategic plans, and forecasting models; · Works with the goal of helping the company become known as an employer of choice · Manages customer expectations and contributes to a high level of customer satisfaction; · Provides detailed and accurate forecasting of leads; · Compiles information and data related to customer and prospect interactions; · Works closely with sales staff to make sure all contract administration is timely and accurate; · Works closely with sales staff to establish successful support, channel, and partner programs; · Assists in measuring properties and supporting the contract renewal process; · Develops proposals and makes presentations in support of sales efforts; · Develops new business contacts; · Tracks all proposals, contacts, and leads; · Supports the sales pipeline; · Utilizes computer skills, information technology, and MS Office applications effectively; and · Provides excellent service (e.g., accurate, complete, and timely) to clients, work-site partners, and company staff in a courteous and efficient manner. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE An example of the preferred education, training, and/or experience that demonstrates possession of the knowledge, skills, and competencies for this position includes: at least one (1) year of customer service, professional sales, marketing, and business experience similar to that presented above. Working Conditions: Work is conducted outdoors, exposed to varying temperatures, weather conditions, and noise levels; exposure to dust, pesticides, herbicides, grease, oils, dust, fumes, and electrical currents. Background Investigation: Incumbents must have a reputation for honesty and trustworthiness. Misdemeanor and/or felony convictions may be disqualifying depending on type, number, severity, and recency. Prior to appointment, candidates may be subject to a background investigation and/or drug test. Introductory Period: Incumbents appointed to this job classification serve an introductory period of three months. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS The Key Performance Indicators for this position will be specified at the time of appointment. COMPENSATION: Annual Salary ranging from $45,000-$60,000 plus 3% commission on all closed sales monthly. Full Benefits offered, along with PTO package.
