We are a close, collaborative team where the person doing the work has real say in how it gets done. The Role We are hiring an Operations Manager to run and grow our maintenance and landscape enhancement business. That is the core of the job: selling and estimating the work, managing crew calendars and property quality, and handling materials, equipment, and snow. The balance of your time supports our Construction Manager on the design-build side, with site visits, project coordination, and making sure install crews are set up to start the day. Our maintenance division, which serves high-end residential clients & HOAs, is established and running on solid processes — the next step is growing it. We are looking for someone ambitious enough to take that on: winning new accounts, expanding the work we do for existing clients, and scaling crews to match. You would own that growth, with the support of a team that already knows how to deliver the work. The construction portion is a chance to learn the design-build side alongside our Construction Manager, who leads those projects. What You'll Do Operations & Maintenance Grow the maintenance division — sell new maintenance accounts, retain and expand existing clients, and develop enhancement work Estimating, sales, and management for maintenance and landscape enhancement crews Calendar and schedule oversight for maintenance and landscape crews, including weekly routing and work planning Routine property visits to check quality and consistency and to identify enhancement opportunities for clients Day-to-day point of contact for maintenance clients Materials sourcing and purchasing Fleet and equipment oversight and maintenance Snow removal management, including route planning and event response Project Support (Landscape Construction) Conduct routine site visits to monitor quality, productivity, and adherence to company standards Assist the Construction Manager with project planning, coordination, pre-construction walks, and job layout Assist in managing construction crews and subcontractors on project installation, ensuring crews have what they need to start the day What We're Looking For Required 2+ years managing residential landscape maintenance or operations Ambition to grow a division, not just run one Comfortable selling — walking properties, scoping work, and closing maintenance agreements Knowledge of local plant material and plant/turf care Ability to direct crews, build schedules, and keep multiple crews productive across properties Strong, professional communication with clients, crews, and vendors Valid driver's license and insurable driving record Comfortable with Excel and Word Preferred Experience with residential hardscape and landscape installation, or a clear appetite to learn it Working knowledge of hardscape construction: base prep, grading and drainage, segmental retaining walls, and paver systems Ability to read and interpret landscape plans Relevant licenses and certifications Conversational Spanish Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $65,000 – $95,000 annually, depending on experience, plus a performance bonus tied to the growth and profitability of the maintenance division.
