# Landscape Engineer **Emirates International Project** · Al-Ayn · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 2 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Position: Landscape Engineer Job Summary The Landscape Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and monitoring landscape works to ensure that all activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, contract requirements, quality standards, safety regulations, and approved project schedules. The position involves coordination with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure the successful execution and completion of landscape projects within the required time, cost, and quality requirements. Key Responsibilities Review and understand landscape drawings, specifications, BOQ, contract documents, and project requirements. Plan, coordinate, and supervise all landscape construction and maintenance activities at the project site. Coordinate the installation of softscape and hardscape works, including trees, shrubs, groundcovers, turf, planting areas, paving, kerbs, planters, walkways, and other landscape elements. Supervise irrigation system installation, including irrigation pipelines, valves, sprinkler systems, drip irrigation, controllers, and related accessories. Coordinate with the irrigation, civil, MEP, and other project teams to avoid conflicts and ensure proper integration of landscape works. Review and coordinate shop drawings, material submittals, samples, method statements, and inspection requests. Ensure all landscape materials, plants, soil, fertilizers, irrigation components, and other products comply with approved specifications and project requirements. Conduct site inspections and monitor workmanship to ensure compliance with approved drawings and quality standards. Coordinate plant selection, procurement, delivery, storage, planting, and establishment in accordance with approved landscape specifications. Monitor soil preparation, grading, planting, turf installation, and irrigation requirements. Supervise hardscape works such as paving, kerbs, edging, decorative features, and landscape structures. Coordinate with nurseries, suppliers, subcontractors, and specialist contractors for timely delivery and execution of works. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and provide updates to the Project Manager. Monitor project progress against the approved work program and assist in achieving project milestones. Identify site issues, technical problems, and potential delays and coordinate appropriate corrective actions. Ensure proper testing and commissioning of irrigation systems and other landscape-related installations. Coordinate inspections with the consultant, client, and relevant authorities as required. Ensure all landscape works are executed in compliance with approved method statements, inspection and test plans, and project quality requirements. Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, environmental requirements, and applicable UAE regulations. Supervise and guide landscape supervisors, foremen, technicians, and workers. Monitor manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractor performance at site. Assist in preparation and verification of quantity measurements, material requirements, and variation works. Maintain proper project records, including drawings, inspection requests, material approvals, site instructions, and as-built information. Assist in snagging, rectification, testing, commissioning, and final handover of completed landscape works. Coordinate the preparation of as-built drawings, operation and maintenance documents, warranties, and handover documentation. Perform other duties related to landscape construction and maintenance as assigned by the Project Manager or management. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in landscape construction, irrigation, and maintenance projects. Experience in commercial, residential, infrastructure, public realm, parks, streetscape, or similar landscape projects. Good knowledge of softscape, hardscape, irrigation systems, soil preparation, planting, and landscape maintenance. Good understanding of landscape drawings, specifications, BOQ, method statements, and material submittals. Experience in coordinating with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams. Knowledge of relevant UAE construction, landscaping, HSE, and environmental requirements. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering/design software. Strong communication, coordination, planning, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple site activities and work effectively under pressure. Work Location: In person
