Land Surveyor with GPS Experience Job Summary: The Land Surveyor is responsible for conducting accurate surveys and measurements of land areas to support construction and development projects. They will utilize advanced surveying equipment and techniques to provide precise data on property boundaries, topography, and existing features. The Land Surveyor will collaborate closely with project teams, engineers, and contractors to ensure that survey activities meet project requirements and timelines. Job Duties & Responsibilities: Conduct Surveys: · Perform detailed surveys using GPS, total stations, and other surveying instruments to measure and map land areas accurately. · Conduct boundary surveys to establish property lines and provide legal documentation such as boundary certificates and affidavits. · Complete topographic surveys to document natural and man-made features, including elevations, contours, trees, buildings, and roads. Set Out and Construction Support: · Set out reference points and markers for construction activities based on engineering designs and plans. · Provide accurate measurements and layout for site preparation, excavation, foundations, and infrastructure installations. · Monitor construction progress and verify that work conforms to design specifications and survey data. Data Analysis and Reporting: · Analyze survey data and prepare detailed reports, maps, and charts showing survey results, measurements, and variations. · Document as-built conditions and deviations from original plans during construction phases. · Calculate volumes of earthwork (cut and fill) based on survey data for project planning and cost estimation. Legal and Regulatory Compliance: · Ensure compliance with local regulations, zoning laws, and health and safety standards during survey operations. · Maintain accurate records and documentation of survey activities, including field notes, sketches, and digital data. Team Collaboration and Communication: · Collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, architects, and contractors to support project objectives. · Communicate survey findings, issues, and recommendations clearly to project stakeholders. · Coordinate with external agencies, government authorities, and clients regarding survey-related matters and approvals. Quality Control and Improvement: · Conduct quality control checks to verify the accuracy and reliability of survey data and measurements. · Implement best practices and utilize innovative surveying technologies to improve efficiency and precision in survey operations. Any other responsibilities will be assigned to you by the management. Outcomes: - Accurate determination and marking of property boundaries through boundary surveys. - Creation of detailed topographic surveys showing natural and man-made features. - Setting out reference points for construction projects using construction layout surveys. - Verification of construction accuracy through as-built surveys. - Calculation of earthwork volumes (cut and fill) for site preparation projects. - Preparation of legal documents like boundary certificates and affidavits. - Collection of GIS data for urban planning and environmental analysis. - Monitoring structural stability and detecting land or structure movements. - Locating underground utilities to prevent construction accidents. - Ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining accurate survey records. - Ensure that all project data, documents and related information are saved and upheld in a specified folder and/or network directory. Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
