This role acts as the technical bridge between Level 2 support and development teams, driving incident resolution, root cause analysis, and problem management in a high-availability banking environment. Responsibilities: Support Level 2 teams in identifying root causes of production issues and proposing workaround, interim, or permanent fixes Collaborate with business analysts, technical support, and development teams to complete RCA and fix proposals Work with product owners and stakeholders to prioritize problem tickets and scope releases Analyze incident/service request patterns to implement permanent solutions and reduce recurrence Identify opportunities to automate repetitive manual tasks Monitor application performance and coordinate with Level 2 teams on optimization efforts Support production releases and go-live activities, including user sanity checks, sign-off, and post-go-live monitoring Perform complex data fixes requiring manual intervention, following formal Change Management processes Ensure strict adherence to organizational policies and compliance standards Contribute to technical design reviews and support solution design for new business requirements Qualifications/Requirements: Graduate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field Up to 10 years of total IT experience, with 4-5+ years specifically in IT Support Analyst roles; prior experience as a developer, technical designer, or similar technical role is a plus Strong functional and business analysis skills, with the ability to bridge business/operations and IT Functional experience in Supply Chain, Trade Finance, or Electronic Invoicing applications preferred Familiarity with data formats/standards: XML, SWIFT, EDIFACT, ISO20022 Experience with functional solution design for large-scale web applications and microservices, including APIs and REST integrations Understanding of security concepts: SSL/TLS, PKI, certificates, and authentication solutions Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux, job schedulers (Crontab, Autosys, Quartz), and tools such as ServiceNow, SharePoint, and JIRA Hands-on experience with RDBMS (Oracle), SQL/PL-SQL Working experience in production support, incident analysis, and RCA documentation Experience with Java/J2EE, middleware (WebSphere/WebLogic), Spring/Spring Boot, and front-end frameworks (Angular, Bootstrap) Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall SDLC environments involving multiple stakeholders Newtone Consulting is an IT recruitment and sourcing specialist, delivering tailored talent solutions since 2013.
