KYC Operations Manager
The KYC Operations Manager is responsible for leading and managing the company's Know Your Customer (KYC) operations within the Verification Department. The role ensures that customer identity verification, document validation, customer information review, and KYC-related onboarding processes are conducted accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established company policies and procedures. The KYC Manager is primarily responsible for the operational execution, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement of KYC processes. The role works closely with the Risk Operations Manager and other relevant departments to ensure proper escalation of suspicious, high-risk, or potentially fraudulent cases. KYC Operations Management – Manage the overall day-to-day KYC operations, including the supervision of Verification Specialists and KYC Operations Officers, ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent customer verification in accordance with established procedures and service standards. People Management & Development – Lead, coach, and evaluate the KYC team, establish performance standards, manage employee development, and oversee the onboarding and training of new hires to ensure operational readiness and competency. Manpower Planning & Workforce Management – Conduct manpower and capacity analysis based on operational volume, productivity, staffing levels, and business projections, and recommend appropriate hiring, scheduling, and resource allocation requirements. Strategic Planning & Performance Management – Develop and implement KYC operational strategies aligned with business objectives, monitor team and operational KPIs, analyze performance trends, and provide data-driven recommendations to improve efficiency and overall team performance. Quality & Process Improvement – Ensure adherence to KYC policies, procedures, and quality standards while identifying operational gaps, implementing corrective actions, and leading initiatives to improve workflows, productivity, accuracy, and process efficiency. Cross-Functional Coordination and Reporting – Collaborate with Risk Operations, Compliance, and other relevant teams on KYC-related matters, while preparing and presenting operational, manpower, quality, and performance reports to Management.
