Want to join in on the passion-fuelled fun? Learn more about the career below Taco Bell is looking for a Marketing Manager for South Korea, preferably based in Seoul. You will be responsible for executing the marketing calendar, leading social media strategy and content planning, and coordinating marketing activities with our two franchisee partners in the market. The role will work closely with franchisee teams and local agencies to bring campaigns to life across digital and restaurant touchpoints. While social media will be a key focus of the role, you will also support broader marketing execution across national campaigns, local store marketing (LSM), retail marketing and delivery aggregator partnerships. Reporting to the Senior Manager North Asia lead, this is an individual contributor role who will work closely with Asia marketing team, internal functions (Commercial Planning, restaurant operations, food innovation team, development, etc.), franchisee partners and their local marketing teams, marketing agencies and international marketing teams. Key Responsibilities: Campaign, Retail & LSM Execution: Implement Taco Bell advertising and marketing strategies, aligning them with overall business goals and market trends. Work with advertising agencies to develop and execute effective campaigns, primarily focused on social and earned media. Support the execution of the Korea marketing calendar across social, digital, restaurant and local store marketing channels. Partner with franchisees to develop and execute LSM initiatives supporting new restaurant openings, specific trade areas and local business opportunities. Coordinate campaign and retail execution across both franchisee systems, ensuring materials and activations are delivered on time, on brand and consistently. Conduct periodic restaurant and market visits to evaluate execution quality and identify opportunities to improve the customer experience. Social Media Strategy & Content: Lead the development and execution of Taco Bell Korea’s social media strategy, translating Taco Bell’s global brand positioning into locally and culturally relevant content across key platforms. Own the social media content calendar, including always-on content, campaign launches, product news, cultural moments, promotions and brand activations. Develop platform-specific content strategies to drive organic reach, follower growth, engagement and brand relevance, grounded in a strong understanding of Korean social media behaviors, trends and culture. Work closely with creative and social agencies from briefing through execution, ensuring content is distinctive, culturally relevant, on-brand and delivered on time. Monitor social media, content and campaign performance, translating results and insights into clear recommendations to continuously improve future activity. Track competitor and category activity and identify emerging social, cultural and QSR trends relevant to Taco Bell Korea. Franchisee & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary marketing interface between Taco Bell and its two Korea franchisee partners, ensuring both partners are aligned behind the national marketing strategy and calendar, ensuring fair and transparent decision-making. Establish a regular cadence with franchisee marketing teams to review upcoming campaigns, social content, retail execution, performance and key business priorities. Coordinate marketing activities across both franchisees to deliver a consistent Taco Bell brand and customer experience across the market. Work with regional and global Taco Bell teams to bring relevant global campaigns, creative assets and brand initiatives into Korea, ensuring effective local adaptation and execution. Day to day liaison with creative and media agencies. Key Skills and Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or a related discipline. 5+ years of relevant marketing experience in Korea, with meaningful hands-on experience in social media strategy, content and digital marketing. Strong understanding of the Korean social media and digital landscape, including emerging platforms, creators, trends and youth culture. Experience working directly with creative, social and/or influencer agencies, including briefing and evaluating creative work. Experience with QSR, F&B, retail, lifestyle or youth-focused consumer brands strongly preferred. Highly creative, organised and proactive with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to align multiple partners around common priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Mandatory fluency in Korean and English languages.
