In this role, you will oversee the design, programming, and implementation of smart building solutions (lighting, HVAC, shading, security) using the KNX standard. You will serve as the technical authority for our team, managing the integration of complex systems while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities 1. Technical Design & Programming *System Architecture: Design robust KNX topologies (TP, IP, RF) and select appropriate hardware/devices from various manufacturers leg., ABB, Schneider, Jung, Theben) to meet client requirements *ETS Programming: Perform advanced programming and configuration of devices using ETS software (Engineering Tool Software) *Integration: integrate KNX systems with other protocols and subsystems (eg, DALI, BACnet, Modbus, HVAC Audio/Visual, Security/CCTV) *Visualization: Configure visualization servers and user interfaces (eg, Gira HomeServer, Basalte, ComfortClick) for end-user control. 2. Project Management & Operations *Lifecycle Management: Manage projects from concept to handover, including site surveys, estimation, resource planning, and scheduling. *Site Coordination: Supervise installation teams and electrical subcontractors on-site to ensure wiring and device installation adhere to KNX standards *Commissioning: Lead the testing, debugging, and final commissioning of systems ensure all "group addresses" and logic functions operate correctly. *Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including logic flowcharts, cable schedules, O&M manuals, and "as-built" drawings. 3. Client & Business Support *Technical Sales: Assist the sales team by providing technical feasibility analysis, BOM (Bill of Materials) creation, and cost estimations for proposals. *Support : Provide post-installation support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for existing clients *Training: Train end-users on system operation and mentor junior technicians on KNX best practices Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: Company Christmas gift Company events Employee discount Free parking Health insurance Life insurance On-site parking Pay raise Promotion to permanent employee Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: Building Management Systems: 3 years (Preferred) BMS: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: KNX Partner Certification (Preferred) Work Location: In person
