# Kitchen and Bedroom Designer **fci London** · London NW10 · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: вчера* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Design Rooms People Remember FCI London is looking for a talented and commercially minded Kitchen and Bedroom Designer to join our design and sales team. This is not a role where you draw what someone else has sold. You will meet the client, understand how they live, design the space, price it, sell it and see it through to installation. The design is yours from first conversation to final handover. Kitchens and fitted bedroom furniture are core to what we do. Wardrobes, dressing rooms, wall systems, television units, fitted storage and complete kitchens are among the most personal and most rewarding projects a designer can work on. You may specialise in one, or design across both, depending on your experience. From our multi-award-winning, 30,000-square-foot showroom in North West London, we deliver everything from a single room to complete whole-house interiors, working with more than 1,000 European brands. Our kitchens and bedrooms sit alongside luxury seating, dining and systems furniture in some of the most ambitious homes in the country. As FCI London grows across the UK and expands into Africa and the Middle East, we are looking for a designer who wants to grow with us. An Industry-Leading Commission Structure Your success should be properly rewarded. FCI London offers a carefully researched commission structure that is considered among the very best in the furniture and interiors industry. Alongside a competitive basic salary, you will benefit from: Excellent uncapped commission potential The opportunity to earn up to 10% A transparent structure that directly rewards strong personal performance Significant earning potential from individual rooms and complete whole-house projects The ability to grow your income as your skills, client portfolio and responsibilities develop There is no artificial ceiling on what an ambitious and consistently successful designer can earn. What You Will Gain Travel to Italy and Germany You will travel to Italy and Germany to meet our suppliers at their factories and to attend the industry's most important exhibitions. You will see how the products you sell are actually made, meet the people who make them, and get early sight of new ranges, finishes and technologies before they reach the UK market. Few designers get this level of direct access to the manufacturers behind their work. It changes how you design and it changes how you sell. Exposure to More Than 1,000 European Brands You will work with an extraordinary portfolio of luxury furniture manufacturers and design brands from across Europe. You will develop detailed knowledge of: Premium Italian and German kitchen systems Appliances, worktops, sinks, taps and specialist finishes Bespoke wardrobes, dressing rooms and fitted storage Wall systems, television units and sliding, hinged and walk-in wardrobe systems Internal fittings, lighting, materials, technical specifications and customisation Complete whole-house furniture and interior projects International design trends and emerging product categories Few furniture businesses can offer this breadth of product exposure in one showroom. The Projects Our clients include homeowners, property developers, interior designers, architects and international buyers. You will work on projects that range from a single striking kitchen or dressing room to complete homes, including new builds, full renovations and high-value developments. Some of our projects run for months and involve coordinating designers, suppliers, installers and main contractors. These are the projects designers talk about for years afterwards. A World-Class Team You will work alongside experienced designers, salespeople, project coordinators and installers, supported by a General Manager and Sales Manager with deep sector knowledge. Our senior leadership team has been with the company for an average of approximately ten years. That depth of experience is increasingly rare in retail and interior design, and it is available to you from your first week. International Expansion As the business expands further into Africa and the Middle East, you will gain exposure to new markets, international clients and larger project opportunities. For a designer who wants their work to reach beyond one showroom and one city, this is a rare opportunity. A Practical Education in Business FCI London's founders operate businesses across several sectors. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced entrepreneurs and senior leaders, gaining practical exposure to sales management, marketing, project management, logistics, commercial decision-making, finance and international business development. For the right person, this role is a practical crash course in how a successful entrepreneurial business actually runs. A Technology-First Working Environment Technology, artificial intelligence and software play a central role in how FCI London operates and grows. You will work with modern systems for design and visualisation, customer relationship management, quotation preparation, project tracking, client communication and data analysis. We actively encourage our team to find better and more efficient ways of working. If you are curious about how AI is changing design, retail and project delivery, you will find this an unusually open environment. A Beautiful and Inspiring Workplace You will be based in our multi-award-winning, 30,000-square-foot showroom, surrounded by exceptional furniture, innovative design and some of Europe's most respected brands. Our showroom is a destination for clients, designers, architects and property professionals. It is a genuinely inspiring place to present ideas and close significant projects. Benefits Competitive basic salary Uncapped commission up to 10% Paid annual leave, plus bank holidays Travel to Italy and Germany for supplier visits and exhibitions Staff discount on furniture and interiors Ongoing training and manufacturer product certification Genuine career progression within a growing international business Your Role You will own the design and the sale.
