We’re Hiring: Kennel Manager

Location: Sharjah Employment Type: Full-Time

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Kennel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our kennel facility, ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare, cleanliness, safety, and care.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations and overall management of the kennel facility.
• Ensure the proper care, feeding, exercise, and well-being of all animals.
• Supervise, train, and schedule kennel staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, sanitation, and safety.
• Monitor animal health and behaviour and coordinate veterinary care when required.
• Maintain accurate records of animal health, feeding schedules, vaccinations, and other relevant information.
• Manage kennel supplies, equipment, inventory, and operational expenses.
• Ensure compliance with animal welfare regulations and facility procedures.
• Handle client enquiries and maintain professional communication with pet owners.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and ensure appropriate procedures are followed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in kennel management, animal care, veterinary support, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of animal welfare, handling, hygiene, and safety practices.
• Proven ability to supervise and manage a team.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work hands-on with animals and handle physically demanding tasks.
• Compassionate, responsible, and attentive to animal health and well-being.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
