This is a hands-on role where you will evaluate cutting-edge networking and security hardware and software products, develop deep product knowledge, and leverage that expertise to support our customer base. What You'll Do - Install, configure, and test networking hardware and software products in a lab environment - Evaluate new software and firmware releases to assess functionality, performance, and reliability - Develop working proficiency in product capabilities to effectively support customers with technical questions and issues - Provide technical support to customers, troubleshoot issues, and communicate solutions clearly - Document test results, product behaviors, and support procedures for internal knowledge base - Collaborate closely with senior engineers to develop structured problem-solving approaches - Participate in the evaluation of new product releases and provide feedback on usability and functionality What We're Looking For - Some experience or coursework in networking, IT, or a related technical field - Basic understanding of networking concepts. - Strong desire to learn — this role is designed to grow with you - Good written and verbal communication skills for customer-facing support - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks - Detail-oriented with strong analytical and troubleshooting instincts Nice to Have - Experience writing automated test scripts or basic programming/scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.) - Familiarity with network security concepts or products - Any industry certifications (CompTIA Network+, Security+, CCNA or similar) or currently pursuing What You'll Gain - Hands-on experience with real-world networking and security products - Mentorship from senior engineers with deep industry expertise - Exposure to a wide range of technologies across hardware and software - A clear path to grow into a mid-level or senior engineering role - Broad skill development across network engineering, security, and technical support Why Join Us This is a rare opportunity for a junior engineer to get direct, practical experience with enterprise networking and security products while building lasting technical skills.
