The selected candidate will be actively involved in a variety of local and international projects, contributing to the development of integrated mobility solutions that shape future cities and transportation systems. Main Duties Undertake transport model development and application using various software packages which enables the simulation and analysis of the urban and inter-urban transport network / system and its interactions with economic, social, environmental, and land-use factors Implement territorial multimodal macrosimulation models, as well as both vehicular and pedestrian microsimulations and static road network assessment tools Develop transport planning research projects with specific focus on transport modelling, traffic assessment, ITS, freight and sustainability issues Extract data from transport models, analyse and produce technical reports Support the liaison with Clients and coordinate technical details with other project consultants Hybrid work position with primary office location in Milan, Italy - Moscova area. Education University Degree in Transport Engineering or equivalent Experience 1-2 years of professional experience in Transport Modelling and Transport Planning Skills Essential qualifications and experience: Proven ability to support the development, calibration and validation of transport models Experience in technical report production Excellent communication skills and interface with clients Desirable qualifications and experience: Experience in using CUBE/VISUM, PTV VISSIM, AIMSUN GIS experience
