About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Junior IT Support Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site technical support across construction project sites and office locations, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems, hardware, software, and network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote IT support to employees across construction sites and offices.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
• Support Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, and common business software.
• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN connections.
• Set up user accounts, email accounts, and access permissions.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware and software procurement, repairs, and warranty claims.
• Perform routine maintenance, system updates, and IT asset management.
• Monitor and maintain site IT infrastructure, including routers, switches, access points, and CCTV systems.
• Provide technical assistance during project mobilization and site office setup.
• Document support activities, incidents, and resolutions in accordance with company procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies and cybersecurity requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Junior IT Support Engineer , preferably within the construction industry .
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals.
• Experience supporting multiple site locations and field operations.
• Familiarity with networking devices, structured cabling, and basic server administration.
• Knowledge of IT hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests.
• Valid UAE driving license is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CompTIA A+ , Network+ , Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) , or equivalent.
• Experience with ERP systems and construction management software.
• Knowledge of CCTV, access control, and IP telephony systems.
