Junior Event Manager
About Humdingers
Humdingers is a luxury catering and corporate events company delivering exceptional food and service to some of London's leading businesses and organisations.
We provide everything from daily workplace catering and hospitality to conferences, product launches, networking events, private parties, weddings, and large-scale corporate events. We work with recognised brands across London and pride ourselves on delivering outstanding experiences for our clients.
Alongside our commercial operations, we run a community soup kitchen that provides over 1,000 meals every week to people in need. Supporting our community isn't a side project – it's a core part of who we are.
Our Managing Director has been awarded a BEM (British Empire Medal) for services supporting the NHS during COVID-19, and that same commitment to people and community continues to shape our business today.
The Role
We are looking for an ambitious and driven Junior Events Manager to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for someone who wishes to build a career within events, hospitality, catering, or client services and is looking to take the next step in their professional journey. While some event management experience is beneficial, we are equally interested in candidates with the right attitude, strong organisational skills, and a genuine passion for events.
You will work closely with our Head of Events and senior management team, learning to take ownership of your own events while supporting the planning and delivery of larger corporate events, private functions, and weddings.
This is not a desk-only role. While primarily office-based, you will regularly attend events, meet clients, conduct site visits, support tastings, and play an active role in ensuring events are delivered to the highest standard.
