This is a great opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who wants to build practical experience across websites, SEO and digital marketing as well as getting involved in creative and design projects. The role will have a particular focus on owning the day-to-day maintenance and optimisation of client websites, including ongoing SEO activity, content updates and performance reporting. You’ll also have the opportunity to get involved in new website builds and support on straightforward design, digital and print projects. Because we’re a small team, you’ll have the chance to take responsibility for your own areas of work, contribute ideas and make an impact within the business and for our clients. You don’t need to be an expert in everything from day one. We’re looking for someone with a good digital mindset, strong attention to detail and most importantly someone who is keen to learn and develop. What you’ll be doing: - Owning the day-to-day maintenance of client websites, making sure content is accurate, up to date and performing as it should. - Supporting regular website updates to web pages and their content. - Supporting and eventually owning ongoing on-page SEO maintenance and optimisation across client websites. - Reviewing and updating site data such as meta descriptions to improve search visibility. - Carrying out keyword and competitor research to identify opportunities to improve website content and SEO performance. - Preparing monthly website and SEO reports for clients. - Building new pages and supporting with new website builds, primarily using WordPress. - Supporting basic graphic design requests such as resizing assets, simple website graphics or social content. - Getting involved in branding and marketing projects where relevant. What we’re looking for We’re more interested in your potential and willingness to learn than expecting you to know everything already. Ideally, you’ll have: - A genuine interest in SEO, websites and digital marketing. - A basic understanding of SEO and website best practice. - Strong attention to detail and good written communication skills. - A proactive attitude and confidence taking ownership of your work. - Basic design skills and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar would be beneficial. - Experience with Google Analytics, Search Console or SEO tools would be a bonus but isn’t essential.
