The role will collaborate with an English-speaking technical team. Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Statistics, or a relevant field. College-level coursework in Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, or related subjects is required. Experience 0-2 years; recent graduates with relevant coursework, academic projects, or internships are encouraged to apply. Mandatory skills Native Japanese speaker, or equivalent native-level proficiency, with excellent speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension skills. Fluent professional English, with strong speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension skills. Ability to assess Japanese AI-generated content for linguistic accuracy, naturalness, tone, context, and cultural appropriateness. Foundational knowledge of Data Science, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Large Language Models. Programming experience in Python and familiarity with common data analysis libraries. Understanding of prompt design, structured testing, and qualitative and quantitative evaluation of LLM outputs. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. Ability to document experiments and communicate technical findings clearly in English. Willingness to learn and contribute to cutting-edge Generative AI technologies. Nice to have skills Hands-on experience with Generative AI platforms or models such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or open-source LLMs. Exposure to Japanese NLP, localization, translation quality evaluation, data annotation, or linguistic quality assurance. Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, vector databases, or agentic AI frameworks. Knowledge of PyTorch or TensorFlow, REST APIs, Git, and basic software development practices. Experience creating or evaluating Japanese-language datasets, prompts, benchmarks, or automated test cases.
