Data Analyst – Job Profile

Job Title: Data Analyst Department: Business Intelligence / Finance / Operations Location: UAE Reports To: Finance Manager / Business Head / Management

Job Purpose

The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analysing, interpreting, and presenting business data to support management in making informed decisions. The role will focus on identifying trends, monitoring KPIs, preparing dashboards and reports, and providing actionable insights to improve business performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Management

• Collect data from ERP, accounting, sales, inventory, e-commerce and other business systems.
• Clean, validate and organize data to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain structured databases, reports and analytical files.
• Identify data inconsistencies and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve them.

1. Business & Sales Analytics

• Analyse sales by product, brand, customer, channel and region.
• Track sales targets versus actual performance.
• Identify fast-moving and slow-moving products.
• Analyse customer purchasing patterns and trends.
• Monitor Amazon, e-commerce and modern-trade performance where applicable.

1. Inventory & Supply Chain Analytics

• Monitor inventory levels and stock movements.
• Analyse stock ageing and slow-moving inventory.
• Prepare demand and sales forecasts.
• Identify potential stock-out and overstock situations.
• Analyse purchase, shipment and logistics data.

1. Financial Analytics

• Prepare revenue, gross-margin and profitability analysis.
• Analyse product-level profitability.
• Monitor discounts, promotions and commercial support.
• Prepare budget versus actual reports.
• Support management with cost and margin analysis.

1. Dashboard & Reporting

• Develop daily, weekly and monthly management reports.
• Create interactive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau or similar tools .
• Present KPIs and trends in a clear and understandable format.
• Automate repetitive reporting wherever possible.

1. Data-Driven Decision Support

• Identify trends, opportunities and potential business risks.
• Provide insights rather than simply presenting data.
• Support management in pricing, product selection, inventory planning and sales strategy.
• Develop analytical models to support business decisions.

Experience: 2–5 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Finance Analytics, Sales Analytics or a similar role.

Pay: AED2,338.89 - AED4,500.00 per month
