Job Overview The role is a client facing role, that assumes direct responsibilities in assisting clients on a wide range of matters, spanning day to day support, up to the execution of complex transactions, at the junction of multiple banking products. The (analyst/associate) banker will thus act in support of senior bankers, anchoring their role as strategic client advisors on both capital structuring, as well as providing general relationship oversight. Responsibilities: - Exhibit on a day-to-day basis a strong corporate finance mindset, in all internal and client interactions. - Work closely with senior bankers to provide overall relationship management support. - Support senior bankers in cross-selling Citi’s full spectrum of products and services. - Maintain & service existing clients, as well as expand the portfolio within the dedicated target market. - Build and maintain strong client relationships. Interact with key customers’ decision makers. - Conduct marketing and executing activities in coordination with partners (e.g. product / investment banking). - Contribute together with internal partners to various approval processes (incl. credit & capital approvals). - Contribute to various presentations, pitches and client decks, as well as supporting partners with content. - Keep a sound quality of the portfolio, ensure adherence to Citi’s policies, procedures, programs, and best practices. - Display a strong risk mindset and maintain a solid control environment. - Promote an enhanced customer experience & drive customer satisfaction. - Regular interaction with multiple cross border teams and partners, as well as the local team. - Continuously stay informed of best practices and market and industry trends. Qualifications: - 1 - 5 years of experience. - Strong Romanian and English language knowledge. - Demonstrated credit skills and / or background in credit. - Experience with large corporate clients, capital markets products is a plus. - Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication. - Consistent planning, negotiation and analytical skills. - Track record in previous client fronting roles is a plus. - Proven expertise in risk assessment and in identifying any early warning signals is a plus. - Ability to handle in parallel multiple projects, with client satisfaction in focus. - A team player that understands the importance of teamwork. - Someone up to a great professional challenge. - Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience #LI-AK9 - Job Family Group: Institutional Banking - Job Family: Corporate Banking - Time Type: Full time - Primary Location Full Time Salary Range: 130 769,23 lei - 209 230,77 lei - Most Relevant Skills Please see the requirements listed above. - Other Relevant Skills For complementary skills, please see above and/or contact the recruiter. -
