Junior Accountant - (Part-Time & Remote)

Location: Remote (Egypt) Salary: EGP 14,000 per month Job Type: Part-Time, Permanent About The Infinity Group The Infinity Group is a London-based payroll service provider specializing in the construction industry. We manage subcontractors' payroll and compliance requirements, helping clients minimize the risks associated with IR35 and employment law obligations. Our services include invoicing, payroll processing, CIS deductions, compliance administration, and contractor payment management. This position requires working within the UK time zone (GMT). The working hours will generally be between 8:00 PM to 4:00 PM GMT (10:00 AM to 6 PM Egypt time). Due to continued growth, we are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our team on a part-time basis. The Role This is a fully remote position offering an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who also has experience in payroll administration. Reporting directly to management, you will support both accounting and payroll functions while working closely with our operations team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and excellent service delivery. The role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, comfortable working independently, and confident handling payroll-related tasks alongside day-to-day accounting responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Accounting Maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions. Perform bookkeeping activities and account reconciliations. Assist with monthly management accounts and financial reporting. Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable. Process supplier payments and maintain payment records. Support month-end and year-end accounting procedures. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Maintain financial records in accordance with company procedures. Support audit and compliance activities when required. Payroll Administration Process weekly payroll accurately and on time. Input and maintain payroll data and worker records. Prepare and issue payslips and earnings statements. Manage new starter and leaver records. Respond to payroll-related enquiries from workers. Reconcile payroll data and prepare management reports. Assist with payroll compliance and documentation requirements. Support invoicing and worker payment processes. Essential Requirements Minimum 3 years' experience in accounting, payroll, bookkeeping, or a related finance role. Bachelor's/ Master's degree in any of these majors: Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Business Management, Payroll Administration or a related discipline. Excellent written and spoken English. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Good understanding of GAAP or IFRS Strong knowledge of UK corporation tax, VAT, and self-assessment, including tax filing and reporting is a plus Are you an experienced Accountant with at least 3 year experience looking for an exciting new opportunity?
