Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and ledgers. Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other accounting documents. Perform bank, supplier, customer, and ledger reconciliations. Follow up on customer receivables and assist with supplier/payable records. Assist in preparation of monthly closing and management reports. Maintain proper filing of accounting documents and supporting records. Assist with VAT-related accounting and documentation and provide required information for VAT return preparation. Assist the senior accountant/finance manager during month-end and year-end closing. Assist with audit requirements and provide supporting documents when required. Monitor outstanding receivables and payables. Assist in maintaining proper records of fixed assets, expenses, and other financial transactions. Perform other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by management. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the UAE. Good knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping. Basic understanding of UAE VAT is preferred. Good working knowledge of MS Excel. Experience with accounting software such as Tally, ERP, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar will be an advantage. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively as part of a team. UAE experience is preferred.
