Junior Accountant
Organize, store, and manage digital accounting records according to company procedures. Enter, check, and record accounting transactions using Xero or similar accounting software. Reconcile data, verify documents, and help identify basic discrepancies during document processing. Track, update, and assist in resolving issues related to clients' accounting records. Support senior accountants in preparing figures, working papers, and other materials for reporting. Assist with tasks related to financial statements, internal reviews, and other assigned duties. Job Requirements Required Graduated or about to graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, Taxation, or related fields. No experience required; fresh graduates welcome. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and fundamental accounting processes. Able to use English at work, especially for reading documents/emails and basic communication. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and other basic office tools. Careful, responsible, able to maintain confidentiality, and willing to learn. Nice to Have (Not Required) Prior experience using Xero, QuickBooks Online, or other cloud-based accounting software. Basic knowledge of international accounting standards, particularly for Australia, Singapore, or similar markets. LCCI certification, currently pursuing ACCA, or other relevant professional certifications. Internship experience in accounting, auditing, tax, or accounting services.
