Junior Accountant
Responsibilities: Responsible for maintaining, preparing, and reconciling accounts and other financial documents. Assist in ensuring controls are being imposed in the transactions.Assist with the preparation of financial statements and support schedules. Monitor accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g., disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts, accounts payable) Support month-end and year-end close process. Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines. Perform general accounts analysis and reconciliations, including bank reconciliation, fixed assets, accruals and prepaid expenses. Keys daily worksheets to the general ledger system, ensures files are complete and maintained as needed. Prepares transaction details needed for government compliances. Filing monthly and annual BIR compliances, ensuring timely filing and payment. Maintaining customer and vendor ledger and coordination with AR and AP accountant for reconciliation. Good communication skills, both written and verbal;Knowledge in the industry, Software, advance computer skills - particularly with MS Office Application - Word, Excel & Power point;Perform other work delegated by the superiors. Qulaififcations : Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is preferred but not required. At least one (1) year of working experience in handling of general accounting and reporting. Strong financial analysis skills and detail oriented Knowledge in ACCOUNTING and TAX LAWS and able to work comfortably with numbers Attention to detail.
