Junior Accountant
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will support daily accounting operations, assist with month-end financial closings, and ensure the accuracy of our financial records. This is an ideal position for a recent accounting graduate or someone with 1–2 years of entry-level accounting experience looking to grow their career in corporate finance. Key Responsibilities Assisting in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded correctly. Updating accounts receivable, issuing invoices, and monitoring incoming payments. Processing accounts payable, verifying vendor invoices, and assisting with disbursement runs. Performing daily bank and credit card reconciliations. Assisting senior accountants with the month-end and year-end close processes. Maintaining organized digital and physical financial records and document files. Assisting with preparing schedules for annual audits. Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent working experience). Experience: 0–2 years of accounting experience. Software Proficiency: Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables). Core Competencies: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of basic GAAP principles. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
