Location: Milpitas, CA (100% Onsite Required) Position Overview We are seeking an entry-level Recruiter with at least one year of recruiting experience to join a fast-paced, collaborative team. This is a 100% full-time onsite position located in Milpitas, CA. Applicants must reside locally or be fully prepared to commute to our Milpitas office daily upon hire. We are unable to offer remote work options, hybrid arrangements, or relocation assistance for this position. This role is ideal for a local candidate who enjoys connecting with people, working toward measurable goals, and continuing to develop their recruiting skills. You will support the full recruiting process, including candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, onboarding support, candidate and employee communication, and recruiting administration. Key Responsibilities Source qualified local candidates through job boards, referrals, social media, recruiting databases, and other sourcing channels. Conduct candidate prescreens to evaluate experience, skills, availability, career interests, and overall fit for open positions, including confirmation of daily onsite commute capability. Maintain consistent candidate outreach and follow-up throughout the recruiting process. Schedule and coordinate in-person and virtual interviews, communicating all relevant details and updates. Build and maintain candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs. Present qualified candidates for open positions and maintain timely follow-up on candidate status. Assist with onboarding activities, including background checks, employment verification, pre-hire documentation, and onsite orientation support. Maintain accurate and timely candidate, employee, and recruiting activity records within the applicant tracking system and other internal systems. Learn and effectively use internal recruiting systems, job boards, communication tools, and reporting platforms. Provide ongoing communication and support to employees throughout their employment. Assist with timekeeping follow-up, documentation, and other recruiting-related administrative responsibilities. Participate in daily in-office team communication, recruiter check-ins, training, coaching, and recruiting meetings. Work closely with recruiting leadership to prioritize open positions, review activity, address challenges, and achieve recruiting goals. Meet established recruiting activity and performance expectations while maintaining candidate quality and a professional candidate experience. Qualifications Local residency in or near Milpitas, CA, with a reliable daily commute (Required). Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum of one year of recruiting experience required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable speaking with candidates by phone, text, email, and video. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with a sense of urgency in an active office environment. Comfortable working in a goal-oriented environment with measurable recruiting activity and performance expectations. Ability to accept coaching, apply feedback, and continuously improve. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn applicant tracking systems and recruiting technology.
