Key Responsibilities - Site Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of ongoing electrical works (including conduit routing, cable laying, panel boards, and containment installation) to verify compliance with approved shop drawings. - Material Inspection (MIR): Inspect incoming electrical materials on-site to ensure they match approved material submittals and are free from defects. - Documentation Management: Raise, track, and close out Requests for Inspection (RFI), Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), and Site Observation Reports (SOR). - Testing & Commissioning Witnessing: Witness and document essential electrical testing procedures, including insulation resistance (megger testing), continuity checks, and grounding/earthing tests. - Standards Compliance: Ensure all works meet local statutory regulations (e.g., Kahramaa/Ashghal frameworks in Qatar or equivalent GCC regulations) and international engineering codes. - Quality Reporting: Assist the QA/QC Manager in compiling weekly and monthly quality metrics, maintaining the project's quality records log, and preparing handover documentation. Required Qualifications & Experience - Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university. - Minimum 5 years of verifiable engineering experience , with a heavy focus on quality control/assurance. - GCC / Qatar Specific Experience: 2 to 3 years of hands-on QA/QC experience within Qatar or the GCC region is strictly required. - Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of electrical MEP installation methods, testing methods for low-voltage (LV) systems, and structural quality procedures. - Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints, shop drawings, and single-line diagrams (SLDs). Excellent technical report writing skills in English. - Candidates currently residing in Qatar with a valid Qatar ID (QID) and immediate Joiners are preferred. Work Location: In person
