Position: Joinery Site Engineer Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience Industry: Joinery / Interior Fit-Out / Construction Location: UAE

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily on-site joinery installation works, ensuring completion according to approved drawings and project specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and other site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review shop drawings, technical drawings, and material specifications before installation.
• Oversee the installation of custom-made joinery items, including wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, doors, wall panels, counters, reception desks, and other bespoke furniture.
• Ensure all joinery works meet required quality standards and project deadlines.
• Take site measurements and coordinate with the factory or production team for accurate fabrication and installation.
• Monitor site progress, manpower, materials, and tools to ensure efficient workflow.
• Identify and resolve site-related technical issues and installation discrepancies.
• Conduct quality inspections and coordinate snagging, rectification, and final handover.
• Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site documentation.
• Ensure compliance with site safety regulations and company procedures.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Joinery Site Engineer in the UAE or relevant joinery and fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of joinery fabrication, installation methods, and finishing materials.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, technical drawings, and construction plans.
• Experience coordinating with joinery workshops, production teams, and site installation teams.
• Good knowledge of materials such as MDF, plywood, veneer, laminates, solid wood, and related finishes.
• Strong site supervision, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and time-management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in commercial, residential, hospitality, or retail fit-out projects.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and joinery detailing.
• UAE driving licence is an advantage.

Interested candidates should have hands-on joinery site installation and supervision experience.
