THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR We need a Project Manager who is: Accountable – Takes ownership and does not pass responsibility when problems arise. Technically Strong – Understands how joinery is detailed, manufactured, finished, transported, and installed. Hands-On – Maintains visibility and control in both the factory and on site. Quality Driven – Does not accept poor or substandard workmanship simply to show progress. Proactive – Identifies problems before they affect production, installation, programme, or the client. Decisive – Makes practical and timely decisions when production or site conditions change. Organised – Maintains control of drawings, approvals, materials, procurement, production, manpower, delivery, installation, and documentation. Solutions Focused – Does not simply report problems; identifies and implements solutions. OUR EXPECTATION The Joinery Project Manager is the single point of ownership for the assigned project . At any given time, the Project Manager should know: What needs to happen. Who is responsible. When it needs to happen. What needs to be produced. What materials are required. Whether the work meets the required quality. What could prevent successful delivery. What action is being taken to keep the project on track. A project is not successful simply because the joinery has left the factory. It is successful when the work has been correctly detailed, correctly produced, delivered without damage, properly installed to the required quality, completed on programme, delivered within budget, and fully closed out to the client's satisfaction. IMPORTANT Candidates must have substantial hands-on JOINERY experience. Applicants whose experience is primarily in general construction or civil works without significant exposure to joinery fabrication, factory production, and site installation will not be shortlisted. Only candidates who meet the above qualifications and relevant joinery experience will be considered.
