Joinery Production Manager - Russian Speaker

Geometry Home Furniture Manufacturing LLC is seeking an experienced Joinery Production Manager – Russian Speaker to oversee and manage daily production operations at our joinery and furniture manufacturing facility in Dubai.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery production, custom furniture manufacturing, production planning, team management, and quality control. Fluency in Russian and English is essential for effective communication with clients, management, and internal teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production workflows, maintaining high-quality standards, optimizing manpower and material utilization, and delivering projects according to approved drawings, specifications, and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily production activities across the joinery and furniture manufacturing workshop.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor production activities according to project priorities, deadlines, and delivery commitments.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Draftsmen, Procurement, Store, Quality Control, and Installation teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Review shop drawings, cutting lists, material specifications, and production requirements before manufacturing begins.
• Allocate manpower, machinery, materials, and workshop resources efficiently.
• Supervise production supervisors, foremen, carpenters, machine operators, wood polishers, painters, and other workshop personnel.
• Monitor production progress and ensure all activities are completed according to approved drawings and project specifications.
• Maintain quality standards throughout cutting, machining, assembly, finishing, and final inspection.
• Identify production bottlenecks, resolve operational issues, and implement corrective actions to improve productivity.
• Monitor material consumption, reduce wastage, and control production costs.
• Coordinate material requirements with Procurement and Store teams to prevent production delays.
• Ensure machinery, tools, and equipment are maintained properly and used safely.
• Implement and maintain standard operating procedures, quality control processes, and efficient production practices.
• Monitor workforce productivity, attendance, discipline, and performance.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
• Prepare production reports covering progress, manpower, material usage, quality issues, delays, and operational performance.
• Communicate production updates, technical issues, and delivery risks to senior management.
• Drive continuous improvement in production efficiency, product quality, and resource utilization.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Joinery Production Manager, Furniture Production Manager, Factory Manager, or in a similar manufacturing leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of joinery manufacturing, custom furniture production, and workshop operations.
• Fluency in Russian and English is mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience managing production teams, supervisors, foremen, and workshop staff.
• Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, workflow management, and resource allocation.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, technical drawings, cutting lists, and material specifications.
• Knowledge of MDF, plywood, veneer, laminates, solid wood, furniture hardware, and finishing materials.
• Good understanding of carpentry machinery, CNC operations, assembly processes, wood polishing, and painting.
• Experience implementing quality control procedures and resolving manufacturing issues.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and production priorities under tight deadlines.
• Good knowledge of production cost control, material utilization, and waste reduction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and production reporting tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a joinery or furniture manufacturing company in the UAE.
• Experience producing custom-made and high-end furniture, wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, doors, wall panels, and interior joinery.
• Knowledge of CNC machinery, production optimization, and workshop process improvement.
• Experience coordinating production requirements for interior fit-out and joinery projects.
• Familiarity with UAE project delivery requirements and manufacturing quality standards.
• Additional language skills are an advantage.
