Joinery Foreman – Wooden Works & Fit-Out

About the Role

Alyunbou is looking for an experienced Joinery Foreman to lead installation teams on wooden joinery, décor and fit-out projects. You will organise the carpenters and installers on site, make sure every item is installed to the approved drawings and to a high-quality finish, and keep the works on schedule through to handover.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead, assign and supervise the daily work of carpenters, installers and helpers on site.

· Read and follow approved shop drawings to install doors, wardrobes, kitchens, vanities, wall cladding and loose furniture.

· Take accurate site measurements and pass them to the engineer and factory/production team before manufacturing.

· Check alignment, levels, fixing and finishing of installed items against the approved drawings.

· Receive and inspect materials, finishes and ironmongery delivered to site (MDF, plywood, veneer, solid wood, laminates, hinges, runners).

· Plan daily manpower, tools and materials, and coordinate site readiness with the site engineer and other trades.

· Report daily progress, delays and site issues to the Joinery Engineer / Project Manager.

· Enforce site health & safety (HSE) rules and keep the work area clean and organised.

· Carry out snagging rectification and support close-out and handover of completed works.

Requirements

· Technical diploma or vocational certificate in carpentry/joinery or a related trade is preferred.

· Minimum 5 years of experience in joinery and fit-out works, including at least 2 years as a foreman or charge hand in the UAE.

· Strong practical knowledge of wood materials, finishes, hardware and installation techniques.

· Ability to read shop drawings and take accurate site measurements.

· Proven ability to lead and motivate a team and achieve daily targets.

· Good communication skills in English; Arabic, Hindi or Urdu is an advantage.

· Valid UAE driving license (required).

· Immediate joiners are preferred.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
