Joinery Architect

We are looking for an experienced Joinery Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of joinery works, interior fit-out projects, and furniture manufacturing, with the ability to prepare accurate shop drawings and coordinate with production and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed joinery shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and technical specifications.
• Develop designs for wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, doors, wall panels, custom furniture, and other joinery works.
• Review architectural drawings, project specifications, and site measurements.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure drawings are practical for manufacturing.
• Prepare cutting lists, material details, and hardware specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and site engineers.
• Ensure drawings comply with project requirements, quality standards, and approved designs.
• Support material selection and quantity take-offs when required.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Previous experience in joinery design and interior fit-out works.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of SketchUp or other 3D design software is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of joinery materials, construction methods, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to prepare detailed shop drawings independently.
