Somaiya Hospital & Research Centre, a 550-bedded medical college and hospital in Sion, Mumbai, is hiring Resident Medical Officers/Physician Assistants for its Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Key Responsibilities: - Manage and monitor critically ill patients in the ICU round the clock - Handle ventilator settings, monitoring and emergency interventions as per protocol - Respond to code blue and emergencies, and perform CPR / resuscitation when needed - Carry out ICU rounds with intensivists and consultants and follow treatment plans - Assist in procedures such as central line insertion and intubation as per competency - Maintain accurate ICU records, handover notes and transfer / discharge summaries - Counsel relatives of critical patients on condition and care - Coordinate with ICU nursing staff and other departments Requirements: - MBBS / BAMS / BHMS - Valid registration with the respective Maharashtra council (MMC / MCIM / MCH) - Working knowledge of ventilator management and critical care - ACLS / BLS certification preferred - Ability to stay calm and take quick decisions in emergencies - Willingness to work rotational shifts is mandatory Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: As per qualification and hospital norms Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Health insurance Application Question(s): Are you willing to work rotational shifts?
