The ideal candidate has strong backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot, solid SQL skills, experience building microservices, and the ability to contribute to modern front-end applications. Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Java and Spring Boot Build and maintain scalable microservices and RESTful APIs Design efficient database queries and work with relational databases using SQL Develop and enhance front-end features using technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, React, HTML, and CSS Integrate front-end applications with backend APIs and services Participate in application architecture and technical design discussions Write clean, maintainable, well-tested, and reusable code Troubleshoot application, database, API, and performance issues Participate in code reviews and collaborate with other engineers on development standards Work with Git-based development workflows and CI/CD pipelines Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and other developers throughout the software development lifecycle Required Qualifications 4+ years of professional software engineering experience Strong experience with Java Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework Experience designing and developing microservices Strong understanding of REST APIs Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle Experience with front-end development using JavaScript or TypeScript Experience with at least one modern front-end framework such as Angular or React Working knowledge of HTML and CSS Experience with Git and modern software development practices Understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles Experience writing unit and integration tests Preferred Qualifications Experience with Kafka or other messaging technologies Experience with Docker and containerized applications Familiarity with Kubernetes Experience with AWS, Azure, or another cloud platform Knowledge of CI/CD tools and automated deployment pipelines Experience working with distributed systems Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments What We’re Looking For We’re looking for an engineer who is comfortable working across the application stack but has a strong foundation in Java backend development. Duties Develop and maintain backend systems using Java, ensuring high quality, scalability, and performance Design system architecture and participate in system design discussions utilizing UML diagrams and best practices Build and optimize RESTful APIs for web services, integrating with front-end applications built with React, Angular, or other frameworks Collaborate with front-end developers to implement UI features using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and related technologies Implement multithreading and distributed computing techniques to enhance application efficiency and responsiveness Write comprehensive unit tests and conduct debugging to ensure code reliability across various environments including Linux and Windows servers Participate actively in Agile software development processes such as Scrum or Kanban, contributing to sprint planning and daily stand-ups Skills Strong proficiency in Java programming language with experience in application design and development Hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core,.NET framework, or similar web development frameworks is a plus Knowledge of front-end development including React, Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Bootstrap, and AJAX Expertise in building scalable APIs using RESTful principles or SOAP web services; familiarity with WCF is advantageous Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or T-SQL; knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB is preferred Familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS or Azure for deploying distributed systems at scale Understanding of system design for system development including UML modeling and microservices architecture Proficiency with version control tools like GitHub, GitLab, TFS (Team Foundation Server), SVN (Subversion) for code management Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps to automate testing and deployment processes Strong understanding of software engineering principles including SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), UML diagrams, application design patterns, and debugging techniques Experience with application frameworks such as Hibernate or Entity Framework; familiarity with WCF or Web Services enhances your profile Ability to work effectively in an Agile environment while collaborating across teams on complex projects involving distributed systems Join us to be part of an innovative team where your expertise will shape the future of software solutions!
