# IT Systems Consultancy Services **BlackStone eIT** · Abu Dhabi · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: сегодня* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role About the Role We are looking for an experienced IT Systems Consultancy Service to provide onsite consultancy and technical expertise for an enterprise IT environment. The consultant will be responsible for reviewing, assessing, troubleshooting, and providing recommendations to enhance the performance, availability, security, and reliability of the organization's IT infrastructure. The role will cover Microsoft infrastructure, Cisco collaboration, VMware virtualization and Disaster Recovery, servers and storage, backup, incident management, and IT service management . Key Responsibilities Review IT systems and infrastructure performance and provide technical recommendations. Ensure high availability, optimal performance, security, and reliability of IT systems. Perform root-cause analysis (RCA) for system-related incidents and recommend effective solutions to prevent recurrence. Develop plans to improve application availability and performance. Develop forecasts for server and storage growth based on business requirements. Provide technical recommendations regarding infrastructure improvements and emerging technologies. Develop and maintain Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP) and participate in DR drill execution. Develop capacity planning, risk management, and Business Continuity Plans in line with applicable ISO standards. Support compliance with UAE IA Standards, NESA, and relevant regulatory requirements . Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for systems operations. Support the development and maintenance of IT security policies, processes, standards, procedures, and internal controls. Ensure IT solutions and implementations are secure, reliable, cost-effective, and fit for purpose. Develop and maintain a documented roadmap for systems and infrastructure products. Work closely with vendors, suppliers, and third parties to ensure industry best practices are followed. Provide L2/L3 support for infrastructure incidents. Participate in Major Incident Management (MIM) activities. Work within an ITIL framework . Technical Responsibilities The consultant should have hands-on knowledge and consultancy experience across the following technologies: Microsoft Infrastructure Microsoft Active Directory Microsoft Exchange Server / Exchange SE Microsoft SCCM Microsoft SQL Server ManageEngine Suite Nexthink The RFP specifically requires reviewing and providing recommendations for these Microsoft and systems technologies. Network & Collaboration TCP/IP OSPF BGP VLAN VPN Cisco IP Phones Cisco Call Manager Cisco Meeting Cisco CMS Cisco Room Kits Virtualization & Disaster Recovery VMware vSphere VMware SRM NetApp SRA Disaster Recovery planning and execution Backup Commvault Backup Software The required technology stack is explicitly listed in the RFP's mandatory requirements. Requirements Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's or master's degree in: Computer Engineering Communications Engineering or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management and troubleshooting within reputable organizations. Strong experience in enterprise IT infrastructure and systems. Experience with L2/L3 infrastructure support. Strong troubleshooting and RCA capabilities. Experience with Disaster Recovery and DR drill execution. Experience working within an ITIL framework. Experience participating in Major Incident Management. Strong technical documentation and reporting skills. Core Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to provide clear technical recommendations to management. Ability to work independently in an onsite consultancy environment. Strong coordination skills with internal teams, vendors, and third parties. Ability to develop technical roadmaps, SOPs, policies, and operational procedures.
