Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Support Engineer for an onsite role in Dubai. You will manage our local IT environment, maintain hardware and network systems, enforce cybersecurity policies, and support the everyday operational needs of the organization. Key Responsibilities ✓Manage, deploy, and maintain local corporate IT systems, server infrastructure, and office networks including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. ✓Oversee directory services, access management, and user provisioning across Active Directory, Entra ID / Azure AD, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace. ✓Execute routine system updates, patch management, local data backups, and disaster recovery procedures. ✓Perform physical setup, diagnostic troubleshooting, repair, and lifecycle management for workstations, laptops, servers, printers, and peripheral hardware. ✓Procure, inventory, and configure new hardware equipment in line with corporate IT standards. ✓Serve as the primary onsite technical point of contact for complex Tier 2 and Tier 3 hardware and system issues. ✓Deploy and monitor endpoint security solutions including EDR, antivirus, firewalls, MFA, and VPNs. ✓Conduct routine security audit checks, vulnerability assessments, and sign-in/access log monitoring. ✓Rapidly investigate local security alerts, mitigate threats, and support compliance with company data protection policies. Mandatory Requirements Eligibility & Qualifications ✓Ability to work 100% onsite in Dubai. ✓3+ years of professional experience in IT support, hardware maintenance, and security administration. ✓Strong hands-on knowledge of hardware diagnostic tools, physical cabling, component repair, and asset tracking. ✓Proven experience with core cybersecurity concepts, zero-trust models, endpoint protection, and network security. ✓Proficiency in Windows and macOS administration, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and cloud environments including Microsoft 365 and Azure. ✓Strong verbal and written English communication skills, excellent problem-solving ability, and a professional user-support approach. Preferred / Advantageous Qualifications Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified credentials. Experience with IT Service Management platforms such as Jira Service Management, ServiceNow, or Freshservice. A valid UAE driving license is a plus for multi-site visits where applicable.
